Genetic research and profiling done on embryos prior to implantation is called PGD, and is the most complicated IVF procedure. In reference to other IVF treatments, it has a lower success rate for achieving pregnancy, due to the complicated and invasiveness of the procedure for embryos. This is why continued research for new techniques is always needed to be done. At many other clinics, the baby’s sex selection is incorrectly identified in the process, and has led to many problems between families and the clinics due to unwanted outcomes.
